FAQ
Questions, answered.
The things advice firms ask us most. Can't see yours? Get in touch.
- Does PlanHouse give financial advice?
- No. PlanHouse is a productivity tool for licensed advisers, not an advice provider. Every AI output is a draft for the adviser to review, correct and approve — the adviser remains the licensed party and owns the advice. Nothing is finalised or sent to a client automatically.
- Is our data — or our clients' data — used to train AI models?
- No. PlanHouse uses Anthropic's Claude API to power AI features. Your data is sent only to answer the request you made, and is not used to train AI models. Each request carries the relevant subset of one client's record — requests are never blended across clients or firms. See how AI processing works
- How is client data protected?
- Australian (Sydney) hosting and Oceania file storage, multiple layers of encryption, multi-factor authentication available to every user and enforceable firm-wide, an append-only audit trail, and malware-scanned uploads. Roles and client-level sharing are enforced in the platform itself, not just hidden in the UI. Read the full security page
- Does PlanHouse work for both Australia and New Zealand?
- Yes. Your firm picks a jurisdiction at sign-up and the rates, templates, disclosure wording, demo data and timestamp formatting follow automatically. New Zealand has its own document set with native FMA disclosures (FAP / FSP, dispute scheme, Schedule 21A) — not Australian wording with the rates swapped.
- Who is PlanHouse for?
- AU and NZ financial advice firms — advisers, paraplanners and client-service staff working in one shared workspace. Firm admin, adviser, paraplanner, client-service and read-only roles are enforced in the platform, and client-level sharing decides who sees whose book.
- Can we turn the AI features off?
- Yes. The AI layer is modular — your firm can switch it off entirely, or enable only the assistants you want. Core (clients, dashboard, documents) is always on; AI, knowledge base, projections, meeting notes, the client-fillable fact-find and the annual review pack each toggle per firm.
- What's live today, and what's still being hardened?
- PlanHouse is in private beta. The platform and security pages describe what's in place today, and we're deliberately honest about what's still being hardened before broader rollout. If something matters to your firm and you can't see it, ask us. See the platform in detail
- What does PlanHouse cost?
- We're not publishing pricing during private beta. Pricing is per firm — we'll walk it through on the introductory call alongside what your firm needs and which modules you'll use. No public price list yet, and no surprises. Talk to us about your firm
- How do we get access?
- PlanHouse is in private beta and we provision new firms after a short introductory call. Get in touch with your firm name, jurisdiction (AU or NZ), AFSL or FAP details, adviser headcount, and what you'd most like to try first. Request beta access
